Course Structure: What to Expect from Our Intensive Program

Our intensive French course is carefully designed to maximize the learning experience. Each week, students will attend structured lessons that cover all aspects of the spoken language, from basic grammar to advanced conversation. The program includes:

Daily Classes:
1. Our intensive courses involve 8 hours of lessons each day, from 9am -4.45pm Monday to Friday. This allows students to immerse themselves in the language completely, accelerating progress.
2. The lessons cover essential skills such as speaking and listening, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the spoken French language.
3. Two meals a day, wholesome and balanced breakfast and lunch, are prepared with fresh products by our top-notch chef are served at the school during class days and are included in the course fee: breakfast and discussion-lunch with teacher, staff and French speakers participation.
Small Group Learning:
1. To provide personalized attention, our classes are kept small of between 6 -10 students. This allows teachers to carefully monitor students’ needs and progress and provide tailored feedback to each student.
2. Learning in a small group setting also encourages interaction and practice, helping you gain confidence in your speaking skills.
Levels for Every Student:
1. Our intensive French immersion course is available at all levels, from complete beginners to intermediate and advanced learners. Students will take a placement test on the first day to ensure you are placed in the appropriate class for your level. The individual student level is carefully monitored throughout the entire program so discrepancy levels can be adjusted during classes.
2. Our structured, all-encompassing French language course, with up to 8 possible level of learning, will help you be able to speak French correctly and be readily understood in every day conversation. Total beginners will be able to say much of what they want to say simply and correctly after 4 weeks.

Intensive Course Schedule: What Your Week Will Look Like

Our intensive French course follows a well-structured schedule Monday to Friday, that maximizes your learning potential:

Daily Morning and Afternoon Classes:
1. The intensive courses runs from Monday to Friday, with lessons scheduled throughout the day from 9am until 4.45pm. Each week involves 40 hours of intensive immersion.
2. Classes are divided into specific sections focusing on oral expression and comprehension with grammar when required.
3. Our language laboratory, is aimed at accelerating student progress and improving speech difficulties on a daily basis.
4. In the afternoon, the student reinforces their French during more informal and varied practice sessions such as: the discussion-lunch with teachers, linguistic games, role playing (students improvise a sketch on an everyday situation) and news analysis.
5. All these activities take place in a congenial atmosphere, created by all concerned, and which contributed so much to the students’ progress and enjoyment.
Immersive Learning Environment:
1. No special preparation or particular knowledge of French is required. Our french language school emphasizes complete immersion in a French-only environment, which means that all lessons are conducted in French. This immersive approach helps students become accustomed to thinking and responding in French, enhancing their speaking fluency.
2. Called ‘structuro-global’, our method is based on the oral language (spoken and heard) and places emphasis on the structures, sound, rhythm and intonation of the language, which the student absorbs as a whole and reproduces in the same way a child learns its mother tongue, without the need to dissect or excessively analyze the language.
3. Students have the opportunity to engage in discussions, group activities, and exercises that mimic real-life situations, encouraging practical re-use of what they learn in class.
Additional Learning Activities:
1. Beyond the classroom, our intensive program includes optional activities designed to enhance the learning experience. These include French film showings with discussion, French 3-course dinners and cultural discussion-excursions with a teacher to renowned villages in the French Riviera, such as Saint-Paul-de-Vence, Antibes, Nice and Grasse. All these activities, enjoyed in a group, are enriched by exchanges between students of varied nationalities, ages and professions.
2. Students have weekends free to explore the local culture and practice their spoken French outside the classroom, making the most of their time in France.

To complement your learning experience, we can organize different types of accommodation for students within a 10 – 15 minute walk from the school, with a range of different prices, that allows you to live comfortably during your stay in France for 4 weeks.
